its been a while with live journal yet again. i went to the uri riot, but it wasnt a riot, it was just a few people with brooms in the air, setting some fireworks off, so i made an ass out of myself, and uri calls me "the gay kid" now, which i love, its pretty damn funny. the band is going well, we wrote a new song, i dont know the name but it kicks ass. and the weather lately has been amazing, i love the look of fall, driving by houses and seeing pumpkins, and amc has a horror movie marathon every minute of every day so far, nothing can get better.
my cell phone works again which is awesome.
today i think im hanging out with joe, and thats about it. if anyone wants to do something, give it a call |

Another Tragic Ending will be going on there first week long tour, visiting such places as penn, virginia, kentucky, ohio... etc. we are all really pumped for it. today we got the trailer and i just came back from loading all the gear. the van has a cd player, neon lights, tv, playstation 2/dvd player and we got everything we need for a week on the road. a week doesnt seem like a long time, but it is for me. im ready for the best time of my life. all the other guys are getting seen off by there girlfriends, but im not hahahaha due to a lack of female. im going to the Arcadia YMCA show tonight and i was debating blood brothers but its too much of a hassle to drive down there, plus theres a few people i wanna see at the arcadia show before i leave. well im gonna go make a big dinner. i will report back in a week or so with details on how it went... bye |

| | The Bled - Red Wedding | ] | yah so this is weird... yesterday i got in my car and there was a mix cd sitting on my seat that read "jarrets jams" and its a cool cd. theres blood brothers, rilo kiley, q and not u and the beatles hahaha. i have no clue who put it there and if someone did, can you let me know, thank you whoever did it. i have been dying to find out who did it because that was really nice. today we practiced and that was good we finished our new song called "fuck sympathy, carry a big gun" its really my chemical romance sounding but still has another tragic ending flavor. we are playing friday night at arcadia ymca, with flatline, knuckledown, and through closed eyes. people should go. its the usual, starts at 7 and is 5 bucks. we have alot of out of state shows which rocks. tonight my boys are graduating and i really wanted to go but george at silver lake is a nazi and scheduled me. congrats bob sam and john. tomorrow is the day that im graduating. pretty fucked up to think about. i am out of high school, i made it. i barely passed. its weird to think about. at the end of high school your supposed to know what you wanna do with your life but i am clueless. i dont know what i wanna be, i dont know what college i wanna go to. i dont know anything. i know that i wanna play music... thats it. and another thing my girl situation sucks, not to be one of those live journal complainers but its true. i feel like i wasted my senior year of school. i havent had a steady girlfriend all senior year, that sucks but whatever, i guess i cant complain, i got the best friends anyone can ask for, and im satisfied with whats going on now. well thats it for me. |

so yesterday we had a show in conneticutt, it was a fun ride up. getting our tarot cards read by jesse, joking around, seeing a carnival, chocolate kisses. the usual. we get to the show, and theres one other band there from jersey, before i burn, we introduced ourselves and they did the same, we got a talking and they were nice dudes. then me albe and jesse bought a frisbee, and started playing, and they joined in. and we were all playing frisbee having a good time. then it was time to backline the gear, and the sound guy was an ASSHOLE. hes like "i need you to put it on the stage" but there was no room so we wanted to play on the floor, and he said no. so we cooperated, but we were pissed. so the first band went on and we were the only ones up front, obnoxiously dancing, the usual. they were really good, hardcore sounding with two singers, and i liked it, we all did, so we invited them down to play a show here on the 15th. then it was our turn, we loaded up are stuff, and we were getting shocked from touching each other, it was a bitch. we started playing and i broke a string first song, but whatever. johns bass amp kept fucking up and my guitar amp sounded like shit. i busted out the telecaster again. the last song we played was long walks on short cliffs, in which i was swinging my guitar around and it hit the mic and sparks flew, and i got fried, it sucked. so we packed up our shit, and before i burn was congradulating us. then we went outside, and i was playing frisbee, then sitting by the van, then hanging out with the before i burn kids at there van. then i was walking around and albe approached me and was like " the before i burn kids are looking to steal a snare, we need to pack up our van" so i didnt believe it cause we were nothing but nice to them, then i personally went up to them, and just stood there, and eavesdropped a little bit and i heard "just take one out of a bag and put it in yours" so i immediately found sam and told him to watch out. so all the guys got together and we started packing up. they offered to help, and they were always asking me what equipment was ours. so i was looking at the stuff they were taking out to see if it was ours, when they were loading up i had to double look because i saw them take out a marshall head and i thought it was ours. so they jetted out of there fast and said bye. then i realized, when they played they didnt have a marshall. so i was playing frisbee with jesse and someone came outside yelling, because they couldnt find a marshall TSL head, the same one i saw the singer of before i burn walking out with. so i was telling the people from that band that they tried stealing a snare, and i found out it was that bands snare they tried to steal as well, and i saw him walk out with the head that was missing. after my house was robbed 340 dollars, i have no tolerance for stealers, i took offense to this. when bands play out of state, or even in state for that matter, its like a bind of frienships, no bands ever get pissed at each other, its like a circle of trust, that they broke after we were soooo nice to them. so the owner of the club called them and they didnt answer at first, but after a few calls they did answer, and she told him that equipment was missing and we wanted to take a look at their van because they were the only ones that left. so they were about 15 minutes away, but it took them 20 to get back, so it was obvious they dumped it somewhere. so they came back, and a bunch of people with weapons in hand walk up to them, screaming there asses off, i was one of the few screaming at them. they denied everything, to talking about stealing, to actually attempting to steal a snare drum, and to ACTUALLY STEALING a marshall head. so i was yelling at them, some guy from another band kept keying there van, while me and bob took our sticker off there van. i dont want our name associated with thieves. so they kept denying it so i walked away and said "get the fuck out of here you fuckin bitches" and put my hockey stick down. i walked over to the lady who ran the show, she told me to calm down, and a car was gonna follow them and see if they stop somewhere to pick it up. so i went in the car with bob and john. i was so hoping they were gonna stop so i can kill them. we followed them for 30 minutes and they didnt stop, and they called the lady who was running the show saying they know someones following them. so we turned around and gave up. i smashed their cd when i got back without listening to it. you just dont steal from bands, after someone did that to my brothers band, i dont put up with people like that. so that was that and we went home, long ride of me being sick. but it was ok. today i found out i had a sinus infection on my right side, and im on 3 different meds to get rid of it, it sucks. as for the may 15th show, everyone has to go
Arcadia YMCA Saturday May 15th at 7:00,(possible of selling out quickly, get there an hour early)
5 Dollars at the door
Arcadia YMCA is in Hope Valley, Rhode Island take exit 3b, to 138 and its on the right, its hard to miss
Preston (conn. the movielife style band)
Eighty Six (mass early november style band)
Grover Dill (big conn. pop punk band)
Montys Fan Club (big rhode island ska)
Another Tragic Ending (post hardcore sounding band im in)
everyone should check it out, its our only show we are doing in rhode island for a while because we are taking a break from playing here because we want to give time for our release "b is for butterflies bursthearts and breakdowns" to come out. so everyone should come to this show, we are going to try and make it as big as possible, to help out all the bands that helped us out. special thanks to all the bands that are playing tonight. especially preston who gave us a place to stay last few times we went to conn. and for helping us sell out the space along with your day strong. everyone take a listen to those bands, visit there sites, listen to there music and if you like it, come to the show, if not, come anyway because it should be fun.
as for my other life its ok. i work at silver lake now instead of santoros, they were stupid and fired me because i couldnt keep a constant schedule, when i did and they didnt. so now im at silver lake, and george is a nice guy. so im happy with that. family is fine. friends are doing good. friday me and albe had "jarret and albe" day and we went to get food, then went to the beach and met up with matt brown, lyons, lawton, alfred, jake, and a bunch of other people, and played nice frisbee. then talked to wicked hideous girls, watched derek chase after girls and kayaks, listened to phantom planet, and then... the best part. got free tickets to YELLOWCARD, LESS THAN JAKE, AND SOMETHING CORPORATE. i hate all those bands, but me and albe picked the tickets up off of Amy Stannard, who is a nice girl. and then we went to albes and tried looking good, and then went to the ryan center. it was sooo stupid, we got there just as yellowcard was going on. we walked around outside, and didnt watch them. then after a half hour, we just left, and met up with bob and sam, and went out to eat, then went to steve aiellos birthday. and played frisbee in the basement. then slept at bobbys.
friday is prom, and im bringing my buddy amy bonner, im not sure about transportation or anything like that, but after justin is having people over and i wanna go there, so i guess i gotta talk to my date.
well for now i wrote the most i think i ever have in this thing. if you read this all thank you, and thanks to all the bands yesterday, (minus before i burn) and all my friends for being there for me. peace out
i feel moved and thats strange but lately ive been acting really strangely and its alright now. im keeping distracted to blunt my reactions and anyhow, you think less when theres less for you to think about. |

I've sold so many songs about the days that went all wrong and never mentioned once all the pretty thoughts of you my head contains. So its time I learned to speak about the days under canopies, when our love would turn to steam and paint every single window pane. Those were the days we learned to talk from behind bit lips and breath that lost, and like a fish unto the lure, hooked by lips soft and kisses pure. We made making love look easy, we made soft kisses seem so appealing. And I'd have half a mind everytime you would walk by to tell you that your green eyes are driving me crazy. So its time we reminis about the days we both would miss teaching eachother how to speak in charaids beneath the sheets. When our bodies would entwine you'd teach me yours and I'd teach you mine. And in a moments time you would help me expand both my body and my mind. We lied out in a beautiful mess trying hard to catch our breath, what a perfect procedure of spending an evening mixing love with sweat. |

| | Nirvana | ] | ok so maybe im not thinking straight, but as most of you know, today is the anniversary of the death of a musical legend, even if you dont wanna agree with it, kurt cobain changed the music industry around and opened gates for every band i listen to now, i believe that if it wasnt for nirvana, there would be no blood brothers, or boys night out. kurt cobain was my musical inspiration. i know it doesnt sound like much, im not good at guitar, im not good at singing, or whatever vocals i do. i dont consider myself a talented musician at all, but music has overtaken my life. i was a nirvana fan since before they were famous, my dad showed me them 2 months before they were on the radio, but in 6th grade, i gave them a closer listen, and realized that theres so much that went into those songs. this powerful music that killed micheal jacksons career, came from a guy who was homeless, living under a bridge in aberdeen washington, working as a HIGH SCHOOL JANITOR. that goes to show, that dreams really do come true, and if you set your mind to something, and want it more than anything, its quite possible that you can make a difference. i owe this one man everything of mine. he changed my whole life for the better. rest in peace kurt. and i know i talk so much trash about yellowcard, but im gonna stop. well not really, i dislike there music strongly, but i downloaded to live songs of them doing covers of "all apoligies" and "dumb" by nirvana, and they were amazing, i was so doubtful when i read that they covered those songs, but it was flawless. they should be a nirvana cover band, like how i started off... |

im pretty damn bored. watching texas chainsaw massacre again. im on such a horror movie spree. its quite wonderful. i stopped writing in this for a while because i have a sister who doesnt know how to use a computer, and she screwed up everything, and once again jarret came to the rescue. this weekend was fun, went to the cranston west show then to montys, got to hang out with some nice people i enjoy. then saturday i met up with bob after breakfast, and we went to his house and same came, and we had sort of a practice thing, then we met up with albe and adam, then off to emerald square mall, and guitar center. i saw a triple rectifier for only 1199.99, i was amazed, i want it, so feel free to buy it for me. im not sure about my work schedule this week, but i hope i dont work alot, and i got vacation. and for vacation i wanna hang at ric with some fun people, see jimmy and krystal again, hang out with all my dudes, and all that good stuff. in another tragic ending news, we discussed many plans for our cd release and all that good stuff... and frankly... IM NOT TELLING! well we changed the cd name from "praying i hit a pole before i turn down memory lane" to "b is for butterflies, bursthearts and breakdowns" it will be released shortly if all goes well. we are playing april 12th with the kinison at the century lounge, its gonna be a wicked fun show cause there a good band, check it out on www.lupos.com for details. |
